Patriots owners Bob and Jonathan Kraft were amongst hundreds of guests welcoming the latest addition to Patriot Place. Others making the scene included Boston Red Sox Kevin Youkilis with fiance Enza Sambataro, Patriot’s Vince Wilfork, Adalius Thomas, Wes Walker, Matt Cassell and Comcast SportsNet’s Greg Dickerson with wife Shannon.
“I am extremely excited to bring Davio’s to Foxborough,” said DiFillippo. “I have wanted to open a restaurant south of Boston for a long time. When the Kraft family offered me the opportunity to be part of Patriot Place, I jumped at the chance.”
Several local charities were represented at the opening including: Rodman Ride For Kids, The Patriot Foundation and Raising a Reader.
The 10,000 square foot restaurant features many of the same characteristics as the Boston location, including an enormous open display kitchen, an in-house bakery and a wine room with over 300 wines.
